Thi s photo was taken in the car when the parade heading towards open field.
HAHA…we loved to look at the performances as it is about 150-year old "Rou Fuo Gu Miao" in Jalan Trus. That's the oldest temple in Johor Bahru. There will be a lot of events going on through up the whole day before they are going for a 15-km parade around the city next day. Thousands of people in Johor Bharu from all walks of life, young and old will lined up in the streets to watch and participate in this event, which starts in the evening and ends after midnight. The Chingay parade adds to the festive atmosphere with stilt walkers, lion and dragon dances, acrobats, and dozens of decorated floats taking to the streets amidst the clashing of cymbals and beating of gongs and drums.
Photo that were taken a few years back when my whole family attending the event.
By the time I reached Singapore, it already noon. Met up Bing in Bugis and had quick lunch before we headed our way down to chinatown. We were happily shopping and lost track of time and poor Amy had to wait for us for dinner. So Sorry, my dear, Amy. We decided to have dinner at Saki Sushi and ask Amy to quene up for seats as it was valentine day, everywhere will pack with people. During dinner, Bing passed us valentine gifts that she prepared for us, so thoughtfully of her. THANK YOU, MUAK.
